Self-Love Astrology Journal, by Agustina Malter Terrada

Self-Love Astrology Journal, by Agustina Malter Terrada
Red Wheel, 1590035828, 112 pages, December 2025

Astrology is often spoken of as a map that charts possibility, purpose, timing, and transformation. But at its heart, astrology is an invitation to come home to yourself and look at your inner landscape with compassion rather than criticism. Astrology teaches how to understand your patterns not as flaws, but as sacred design; it leads you to remember that who you are is not an accident, but a constellation of wisdom, experience, and potential. Self-Love Astrology Journal by Agustina Malter Terrada is a tool for this cosmic journey.

This interactive, guided journal is designed to help readers explore their natal chart and learn to manifest with the energy of the zodiac. Divided into three chapters, each section provides creative activities and exercises, ranging from journal prompts to rituals to attune readers to astrological energies.

The first part of the journal, “Discovering the Seed”, is an overview of astrology basics. While there’s some space for journaling, such as drawing your own natal chart and figuring out your elemental composition), it’s mostly a great source of reference. Malter Terrada shares information about the evaluation of astrology, the elements, the planets, the lunar cycle, and the twelve houses, signs, and moons. There’s even a page featuring Taylor Swift’s birth chart with insight into her planetary placements. This section would be very useful for beginners, as it presents easy to integrate summaries of foundational astrology.

The next section, “Walking the Path”, is the heart of the journal. The journal prompts Malter Terrada shares in the second chapter, moving through the whole zodiac to manifest something from start to finish, is an illuminating process. Consciously working with the energy of the zodiac in this way strengthens both the goal one’s working towards by giving it a natural alignment as well as one’s own astrological knowledge.

This section moves from Aries, Phase 1 through Pisces, Phase 12, guiding readers through the energy of the zodiac. For each sign, there’s an introduction page with an affirmation, dates of the season, element, and a few key words, along with an illustration of the symbol. This is followed by a profile of the sign that features the ruling planet, complementary opposite, aligned traits and off axis traits. There’s also a glyph of the ruling planet, sketch of the constellation, and a muse. These pages are very helpful for familiarizing oneself with the sign.

As for the content of each zodiac section in the journal, they differ depending on the energy of the sign, but there’s PLENTY of journaling space. Malter Terrada has a knack for inspiring prompts and meaningful reflection. And the layout of the journal seems to beckon the reader to start writing!

And the coolest part is how there’s such a wonderful flow to the journal. Malter Terrada essentially invites the writer to take one concept/goal/intention and work with it through all the energies. So during the Taurus phase, deemed “materializing”1, energy is being invoked to turn the idea into substance, which includes journaling about how to “feed” your purpose and then root it in for growth. Later in the zodiac, Aquarius, deemed “disseminating”2 is the energy that then brings forth what is finally created outward for others to connect with through networking.

While it might seem logical to start with this journal during Aries season and then move through the year, I have been easily applying it to some current goals I have. I’ve noticed that moving through the journal, some of my goals seem to progress to the next stage quickly, while others sometimes take a bit more time. The nice thing about the journal is that even if you go through it once, you can always refer back to the prompts to keep the cyclical energy of the zodiac moving for manifestation. Plus, the rituals for each zodiac sign are very neat and can definitely be done repeatedly through time.

The final section, “Living in the Oasis”, is focused on integration and reflection. Malter Terrada invites writers to journal about the tools they called upon during the process, reflect on the twelve phases and summarize each, and then bring the energy to conclusion.

As for the aesthetic of the journal, the pages feel dynamic and inspiring. The full-color pages of the zodiac signs really catch your attention, while the journaling pages feel warm and celestial. There’s amazing organization and structure to each page, providing a sense of clarity and spaciousness. Assorted fonts keep the pages interesting with each font thematically fitting for the content of the page. The additional illustrations and decorative elements, such as small gold stars and ink sketch illustrations, add the charm of celestial beauty. It’s a good blend of mystic feeling with modern design.

One thing to note is there isn’t too much open blank space for in-depth journaling. While there’s a good amount of room to answer prompts and do exercises, there’s a lot of text sharing astrology knowledge or guiding the reader through the process of working with each zodiac signs’ energy. Nevertheless, the formatting of the journal makes for effective recording of one’s thoughts. Sometimes there’s a box to draw a picture, other times there’s bullet-pointed (in the form of cute stars) lines for making a list. There’s a range of creativity for journaling, yet it’s very structured without a ton of space for free writing, which those who prefer a guided writing process will enjoy.

I really appreciate how Malter Terrada has brought astrology to life with this journal, which structures the energies of the zodiac into a format people can engage and interact with. Sometimes astrology can feel a bit impersonal and technical, but the approach of this journal provides a deeply human touch. Encouraging introspection and energetic connection, this journal is a compass towards a higher purpose through the ever-flowing astrological wheel. It’s perfect for inviting astrological awareness into one’s daily life or moving through a transitional life phase where some cosmic direction is beneficial.

For those newer to astrology, this journal is an inviting first step in learning one’s chart and the energy of each zodiac sign. Meanwhile, those with some astrological knowledge will appreciate how the journal adds dimension to one’s astrological perceptions by encouraging the exploration of one’s chart and current intention/mission/goal through the lens of phases each astrological sign represents.

Overall, Self-Love Astrology Journal is a great tool for connecting with the energy of the zodiac, especially for the purpose of manifestation. For those who enjoy hands-on praxis, this journal is a wonderful way to explore astrological energy intentionally and record reflections, feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Malter Terrada has created a well-designed, meaningful process for readers to work through, giving writers a creative outlet for emotional processing, intention-setting, and spiritual connection. I definitely will be tracking my intentions and goals through the astrological phases for more alignment from now on!

Magical Ever After, by Erica Rose

Magical Ever After: Manifesting Your Fairy-Tale Romance with Angels, Mermaids & Faeries, by Erica Rose
Muse Oracle Press, 1763586944, 200 pages, November 2025

It’s a love story, baby just say yes! Except.. Sometimes it’s a real struggle, right? For those who have wished for a bit of help from a fairy god mother, Erica Rose is here to teach you how to connect with not only fairies, but angels and mermaids too. Her new book Magical Ever After: Manifesting Your Fairy-Tale Romance with Angels, Mermaids & Faeries invites you to be the author of your own love story with a bit of magically-inspired assistance from these guides in matters of the heart.

“Manifesting love is not about using magic to force someone to fall in love with you. It’s about you, yourself, adjusting the energy you are projecting in order to match the energy of whoever out there would be your perfect partner. It’s about getting into alignment with the type of love you deserve and desire.”3

As soon as I held this beautifully bound, pink hardcover book in my hands, I could feel the soft and gentle allure of romance and magic within the pages. Beginning with “Once Upon a Time” and ending with “Your Happily Ever After”, Rose has written a potent guide for healing your own wounds, forgiving the past, and really cultivating self-love. She teaches how falling in love with yourself first creates a magnetism that brings in the love you desire. And along the way, there’s mystical helpers to aid in this process of transformative inner work.

Magically Ever After begins with an introduction to the spirits readers will be working with: angels, including Guardian angels and Archangels too, and the elementals, mermaids and fairies. Calling on these spirits gives the interpersonal and manifestation work that will be done a very mystical feeling, inviting readers to move beyond their real life concerns and frustrations to tap into a more spiritually-attuned frame of mind when calling love into their life. Rose shares meditations for readers to connect with each of these guides, opening the doorway for readers to strengthen their connection to them before setting off on this journey of love.

First, Rose teaches how to become more aware of one’s love mindset. From the media we consume to blocks around the possibility of ever finding a loving relationship, she shares ways for readers to reflect on their romantic views and shift them into a more positive mindset. Though dating can be draining, her tips bring an uplifting, hopeful perspective that encourages readers to learn from their experiences, readjust, and remain open to all possibilities.

The next topic Rose delves into is self-love. By working with the mermaids, fairies, and angels, readers have the opportunity to spruce up their self-image, tend to their inner needs with care, and honor the path they alone walk. Rose consistently reminds readers their story is unique, and there’s no reason to get caught up in an artificial sense of timing or comparison to others.

The inner empowerment developed in the self-love section gives readers the courage they need for the next part of the process. Rose’s next topic is releasing the past. To me, this felt a bit like the shadow work section, where readers are guided to look into past lives and generational influences, along with healing their own heartbreak to cleanse the slate for their romantic lives. Too often we want to move forward with a new path, but the past has not been fully honored, healed, and released. Rose provides plenty of divine tools for readers to let go of what’s been to make room for what they truly desire.

The final section is all about living a life of love. After getting in the right mindset, cultivating self-love, and releasing the past, the focus turns tapping into the love all around and manifesting dream romance. Rose shares different visualization techniques to bring this reality to life.

“Continually find ways to romanticize your life. Pretend you’re the main character in a fantasy romance novel and be swept up in the idea that you already have the love of your life. If you can constantly convince yourself, your energy will radiate with love and the Universe will match that frequency.”4

One thing I like about this book is that all throughout Rose is sharing her own story of finding true love. Knowing that she went through this process herself provides a feeling of comradery. She’s sharing all of this wisdom from personal insight and actually doing the work; she GETS it. This makes the whole book incredibly authentic. Even the most rationally-minded readers will be able to benefit from Rose’s guidance on how to find love, regardless of if they’re comfortable working with the spiritual entities, because the content is sound advice overall.

While the content might seem whimsical, Rose actually presents a very healthy and grounded approach to manifesting romance. She doesn’t ignore the inner work, offering superficial tips for finding “the one”, rather she teaches readers how to go deep into their own past in order to create a foundation of self-love in their life. From this place of healing and self-acceptance, readers then send their energy outward to find a partner who is in alignment with this state of self-love. This beautiful, Venusian journey is one anyone can undertake. While Rose offers introductions to helping spiritual guides, sharing meditations and exercises to strengthen the connection, readers still have agency over which entities they feel called to work with; there’s lots of room for freedom and personal choice in how Rose presents the material.

It’s not presented as “manifest love fast” but rather “heal your heart and align deeply for long term happiness”. Rose encourages questioning social truisms (not being married by 25 doesn’t make you a spinster!), deeply exploring one’s feelings (you WILL need to do some honest soul searching!), and finding the positive within the journey (yes, that terrible date taught  you something about what you actually are looking for!). And all throughout, Rose sprinkles in a happy dose of magic, affirmations, and rituals to keep readers inspired and optimistic about their romantic journey.

Here are some of my favorite meditations, rituals, and practices shared by Rose to help readers uncover blocks in their love life, heal, and align their mindset to attract everlasting love:

ㅤ♡ Candle Spell for Passionate Love
ㅤ ♡Archangel Jophiel Morning Beauty Routine
ㅤ♡ Mermaid Mirror Work
ㅤ♡ Fairy Tea Ceremony for Self-Love
ㅤ♡ Rewriting Your Identity Ritual
ㅤ♡ Generational Healing with Archangel Raphael
ㅤ♡ Love Intention Bath with the Mermaids
ㅤ♡Social Amplification Reflection Questions

Overall, Magical Ever After is an empowering guide to manifesting the love one desires and deserves. For those open to spiritual assistance from the angelic, fairy, and mermaid realms, this book is a wonderful resource. Rose has done an outstanding job balancing practical romantic advice with initiation to let the mystic energy of the Universe guide the path to true love.

I’m a big believer in manifestation work succeeding the most through partnership with divine entities, so I have full confidence that the bridge created between realms through the process in this book leads to readers finding their dream relationships. I recommend Magical Ever After for those who need some uplifting inspiration in their love life; there’s always love and happiness available in life, if one is willing to open up to the possibilities.

Manifestation Perfected, by Baptist De Pape

Manifestation Perfected: Six Steps to Embody Your Soul Purpose, by Baptist De Pape
Findhorn Press, 979-8888502518, 256 pages, March 2025

Manifestation Perfected by Baptist De Pape is a book that will help guide the soul into alignment while finding your authentic self and learning how to find your soul’s purpose. This book is excellent for beginners.

The first step, “Part One: Recognizing that You are a Soul”, brings us to chapter one and shares with us evidence through the stories of others who have gone through a soul experience. Each story is drastically different from one another, but all share one thing in common: when storytellers accepted their soul’s path, they gained the success that they have now.

We get evidence from the stories of Anita Moorjani who had a near-death experience that essentially changed her in many ways; she knew her work wasn’t completed and her body healed. We also read about J.K Rowling’s story of her getting stuck for several hours on a train when suddenly the inspiration for Harry Potter struck her. She chose to let herself explore these ideas instead of finding other ways to pass her time.

Seeing how others were able to realize that this is what they needed in order to transform not only shows that it’s possible but this can open our eyes to how we can come into alignment as well. Throughout the book we are greeted with many other stories that give us more clarity as well as evidence to what De Pape is explaining.

The next topic of discussion is about souls. Here we learn a little more about souls and how when we’re aligned with our soul miracles happen. De Pape teaches when we’re trying to align with our soul that we can’t also align with our fearful side. Focusing on what you do and don’t have and trying to impress others leads to forgetting who you actually are.

Chapter two tells us exactly why we should be interested in finding the soul’s voice as well as our authentic selves. From this chapter I gathered the knowledge that without finding your authentic self, you can’t manifest because you cannot hear your soul’s voice.

Chapter three is the start of “Part Two: Finding Alignment with Your Soul”. The next step in the soul’s journey to discover your purpose, but after chapter three it seems like chapter four comes so quickly! The chapters are pretty short, there’s a total of twenty nine chapters to cover. I’ll give the overall summary of each one!

Chapter three tells us more about Higher Awareness, which was mentioned in the previous chapter. Here De Pape teaches us how to become more connected with Higher Awareness by listening to our intuition. Chapter four goes over some of the progress we’ve made so far, from recognizing how we are souls, to Higher Awareness now to explaining Source and our connection to the Universe’s endless creativity.

Then chapter five goes into detail about why you should be listening to your soul. Chapter six discusses how to connect to the soul, finding stillness and quiet is the core, but that connection can be found in nature, spending time with a pet, meditation, and so on. Then Chapter seven shows us what it means to align with your school and how you align with it. Now moving into chapter eight we learn about some practical ways to align with your soul successfully.

Then chapter nine is the start of “Part Three: Staying in Alignment with Your Soul”. This chapter teaches us the power of our emotions, while chapter ten explains how we need both infrastructure and intention. It’s explained that not only when we manifest do we need the intention but we must also take into consideration the infrastructure, what makes the manifestation functional. This topic I feel isn’t brought up enough when I see or hear anything about manifesting. It’s important to think clearly and cover every moving part that is needed to make the manifestation successful!

But after learning the importance of having a solid base for manifesting. We move into chapter eleven and learn and understand more on intuition, mainly focusing on primarily where intention comes from. Moving onward to chapter twelve and thirteen we learn about synchronicity. Chapter fourteen teaches us how to tell when we are in alignment with our soul.

Now we’re on “Part Four: Identifying the Intentions of Your Soul”. Chapter fifteen tells us how to trust your soul. Chapter sixteen discusses how to stay connected when we feel totally disconnected. Chapter seventeen talks about the soul and the material world, while chapter eighteen dives into the soul and health, chapter nineteen covers the soul and humor.

Now we are brought to “Part Five: Manifesting from the Intention of the Soul”. This section begins with chapter twenty, which guides us through the money and the soul, along with how to manifest wealth as well. Chapters twenty one and twenty three talk about success stories while chapter twenty two briefly goes over manifesting negative things. Chapter 24 helps us understand more on the purpose of the trials we face, we must all face trials at some point or another, it’s simply a part of life itself. De Pape teaches:

“Every trial is an opportunity for spiritual development. Oppositions ask us to learn about trusting our Souls.”5

This is a great way to look at the trials of life in a more positive manner; they are only an opportunity to learn!

Chapter twenty five goes over manifesting and the unconscious. Then chapter twenty six is just a brief recap on the essentials of manifesting before we dive into the last step.

Finally reaching “Part Six: Our Task Is to Manifest”, De Pape starts with chapter twenty seven and the discussion of why we’re here. Chapter twenty eight follows how we can live a magical life. Lastly, twenty nine discusses the highest form of abundance and this is where our journey with this book comes to an end!

This book’s information is well organized. At the end of each chapter I found the “In a Nutshell” section very helpful to digest the information I just took in. These are little exercises to help guide the soul in the right way to alignment.

Getting to read many soul transformation stories of successful individuals was uplifting. Seeing how and where they were before they became successful is proof that once we align to our souls we become one with our journey and purpose entirely. Truly anything becomes possible then!

Manifestation Perfected is a good read for when you feel off track in life. It’s absolutely possible for you to get back into the right flow of things if your soul isn’t falling into alignment, and this book is a good pick me up if you’re feeling this way. Everything covered in this book will help you expand your knowledge and hopefully help you manifest like a pro!

Ancient Manifestation Secrets, by George Lizos

Ancient Manifestation Secrets: Working with the 7 Laws of the Universe to Manifest Your Life and Purpose, by George Lizos
Findhorn Press, 979-8888500903, 208 pages, November 2024

Ancient Manifestation Secrets: Working with the 7 Laws of the Universe to Manifest Your Life and Purpose by George Lizos is an interesting read that takes a different approach to manifesting what you desire. The traditional guidance is founded within the laws of attraction, but many times this standard of method lacks the components and supportive structure that includes all of the Universal Laws, not just attraction. Lizos has expanded this ideology to be inclusive of all of the seven Universal Laws, thus making the process of manifestation one that is attuned to what you wish to create.

This title makes use of an ancient title of great worth, The Kybalion by the Three Initiates, thought to have been the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus and the foundations upon which all things in the never-ending Universal cycles work. I have used the workings of the seven universal laws for all of my magick and mundane endeavors and having these as foundations for what I have wished to create/manifest in my life has been an exercise in efficiency and purpose. So, of course, when I saw the opportunity to review this title, I jumped right in.

This book is organized into 3 parts inclusive of 30 chapters and culminating with “Part Three: a 10-Day Manifestation Challenge”. The conclusion feels like a resounding applause from the author for having made it through the density, at times, of the material and a supportive dose of encouragement to keep the energy flowing: “The Universe Will Show Up For You, If You Show Up For You.”6

“Part One: The 7 Laws of the Universe” provides the reader with a comprehensive yet fully relatable understanding of these 7 laws which originated from an ancient system. Lizos brings the language into more modern vernacular while still retaining the original meanings of each of the laws. Each of the laws presents reader with the opportunity to thoughtfully come to a conclusion and definition that is accessible regardless of the level of understanding they possess.

“Part Two: Five-Step Manifestation Process” gets to the meat of the work–your actions and intentions.

“Rather than a quick formula for instant manifestation, this five-step process is, instead, a long-term framework for your manifestation journey, that you get to use and improve on throughout your life.”7

These five-steps are broken down into:

  1. Raise Your Vibration
  2. Clarify Your Desires
  3. Release Your Limiting Beliefs
  4. Nurture the Energy of Your Desires
  5. Take Inspired Action.

Each of the 5 steps is explored in an interactive manner combining exercises of support, journaling, contemplation, and sound theoretical approach. Additionally, there are real life examples given of the experiences of others who have benefitted from this method of approach, not only in manifesting what they desire but in their day-to-day growth as well.

“Part Three: 10-Day Manifestation Challenge” provides the reader opportunity to actively apply the tools acquired from moving through the five steps and the deeper understanding now found in the power of the 7 Universal Laws and their function in creating the life you wish.

“Every day, I’ll give you an actionable step that draws from what you’ve learned so far and builds on the previous one, to help you manifest your chosen desire. The steps will be easy to complete and won’t take you more than 15 minutes daily. All you’ll need is your journal to complete the daily practices, your meditation space, and trust in yourself and the process.”8

These practices make for a very complete and purposeful journey through the steps necessary to enhance your powers of manifesting, most importantly that of having confidence in yourself to become the creator of your own destiny.

Would I Recommend?

Ancient Manifestation Secrets is precisely what is needed now to empower and uplift humanity, reminding each of us of our vital place in the workings of the Universe and the innate power we have when we align ourselves with the Universal Laws. I appreciated the brevity, yet impact every point on discussion of the Universal Laws. This text has great useability by those well versed in Hermetic principles as well as those coming from a completely different perspective or new to the subject.

Having tasks to complete and this methodology organized in a way that is bite-sized and engaging is an added bonus for the reader. Completing this title is sure to give the reader all that they need in establishing a routine practice of energetically aligning with the universal flow and connecting more deeply to the potential of “what could be” surrounding us. This book would make a lovely gift to anyone who is struggling with their control and power over their life circumstances, as well as a wonderful self-gifting to YOU in honoring your place as an integral part of the Universe in all of life’s manifestations.

Cosmic Wealth Codes Journal, by Taylor Eaton and Stephanie Wicker-Campbell

Cosmic Wealth Codes Journal: Activate and Amplify Abundance in Your Life, by Taylor Eaton and illustrated by Stephanie Wicker-Campbell
Muse Oracle Press, 9781763586918, 200 pages, April 2025

Taylor Eaton has created a unique pathway to abundance in her beautiful Cosmic Wealth Codes Journal: Activate and Amplify Abundance in Your Life. She provides spreads, journal prompts, and lots of room to record your thoughts, dreams, and goals. The journal accompanies her newly released Cosmic Wealth Codes Affirmation Cards.

Eaton is “money mindset & Human Design coach, who loves to help entrepreneurs step into their limitless potential in their business!”9 What interests me is how she utilizes Human Design to create business plans for herself and her clients. She offers numerous free PDFsand resources, and her blog also features free guided meditations for the various Human Design types. Additionally, she has also created The Wealthy Woman Oracle Deck and The Way of the Wealthy Woman Journal. Learn more about Eaton and get her free resources on her website.

Wicker-Campbell is a gifted illustrator and artist who combines artwork in a way that is simply out of this world. She has illustrated numerous oracle decks, journals and book covers in rich hues and beautiful renderings. Some of her more recent works include Daily Light Affirmation Deck, Creatrix Awakened Oracle Deck, and Mystic Imaginarium Oracle Deck.

The Cosmic Wealth Codes Journal promises to be more than just a notebook; it is a tool for self-discovery and manifestation. Eaton’s approach combines spiritual principles with practical exercises, ensuring that users can effectively channel their intentions into tangible results. The journal’s premise is grounded in the idea that wealth and prosperity are accessible to everyone who works with the universal laws governing abundance.

As Eaton says in the introduction:

“The words and illustrations alike are uniquely designed to activate the wealth codes you possess and help you wield your innate ability to manifest limitless abundance into your life.”10

Within the pages of this journal, the author and illustrator have provided tips, spreads, and plenty of room to record your own card draw and daily musings on both specially designed layouts and lined pages. The special pages where you can record your daily intentions, card spread, card draw, and interpretations are custom designed for the avid card reader.

The author and artist also feature a great deal of Wicker-Campbell’s artwork from the Cosmic Wealth Codes Affirmation Cards within the pages of this journal. The sections are accented with full page, four-color artwork of female figures from many cultures and eras. Interestingly, Wicker-Campbell does not show any facial features on these characters. Instead, she fills each face with a starry sky. The effect is both stunning and a little haunting! There is also artwork of stacks of coins, a compass, classical sculpture and other landmarks, such as Glastonbury.  Each colorful page is like a portal into abundance and only asks the reader to imagine connecting with the cosmic wealth codes behind the images.

Eaton shares:

“The prompts and affirmations in the journal have been channeled from the timeless wisdom of the Universe – from the Arrow collective (hailing from the Orion constellation), archetypal energies of deities such as Artemis and Hecate and the all-abundant Source itself.”11

Although Eaton planned this journal to complement her Cosmic Wealth Codes Affirmation Cards, she mentions that the four spreads shared will work with any tarot or oracle deck.  To test this recommendation, I chose to do the Wealth Code Activation Spread with my favorite tarot deck.

The three-card spread was based on the question: “What wealth code am I ready to activate?” These three prompts were shown on page 6:

  1. The wealth code that is ready to be activated within you.
  2. What you need to believe or hear in order to activate it.
  3. A message to inspire you to take an aligned action that will activate it.

I drew the following cards with this spread:

  1. 10 of Swords – A new code is being activated, as you leave old wounds and take a step.
  2. 3 of Wands – Know that you are moving in the right direction; stay optimistic!
  3. Wheel of Fortune – Follow the breadcrumbs, relax and don’t try to control the wheel. I also heard: Share your knowledge and experience.

I’m still processing this message, but I feel confident that its meaning will be revealed more clearly over the next few days or weeks! I agree that the spreads in the journal can work with any cards and plan to use the spreads with some of my business clients.

As mentioned earlier, the journal is filled with interactive exercises and affirmations that prompt us to reflect on our financial habits and beliefs. Eaton’s questions are probing and insightful, encouraging deep introspection and honest evaluation. The prompts encourage us to engage with our inner world and to uncover the blockages that hinder financial growth.

One prompt asks: “What does abundance mean to me?”12 And one of my favorite affirmations is: “Every cell of my being naturally vibrates to the frequency of inevitable wealth.”13

The journal is printed on thick paper stock that will stand up well to writing on both sides of the page. The cover is a heavy card stock that is almost as thick as any hard bound book. The book is edged in purple, and the author has inserted a purple ribbon to use as a bookmark. It is a handy size, coming in at just under 6 X 9 inches.

Overall, Cosmic Wealth Codes Journal is a transformative guide designed to help individuals harness the energy of abundance and wealth through intentional journaling with tarot or oracle cards. Within its framework, you can plot your own experiences and successes. Its blend of spiritual wisdom and practical advice makes it accessible to a wide audience, regardless of their familiarity with manifestation practices. This journal is not just a collection of pages; it is a companion on the journey to financial empowerment.

Manifestation Tarot, by Jayne Wallace

Manifestation Tarot, by Jayne Wallace and illustrated by Julia Cellini
CICO Books, 9781800653733, 78 cards, 64 pages, October 2024

Manifestation Tarot by Jayne Wallace with illustrations by Julia Cellini is a beautiful deck that promises to guide users on a transformative journey of self-discovery and manifestation. I was drawn to this deck by the artwork and idea of adding manifestation to my tarot journey.

As a well-known clairvoyant medium, Wallace brings her wealth of experience and deep understanding of the esoteric arts to create a deck that is both visually stunning and spiritually enriching. Wallace has written for many publications and authored four books, along with appearing on television in both the UK and America. She lives in Essex, UK.

Julia Cellini is an illustrator who works in a variety of mediums, specializing in watercolor and digital art. She finds inspiration in nature and has recently completed a series of works based on deities. She lives in Hawaii and loves exploring the flora and fauna in her tropical home.

The first thing that strikes me about Manifestation Tarot is its breathtaking artwork. Each card is a masterpiece, adorned with vibrant colors and intricate designs that capture the essence of the tarot archetypes. The imagery is a blend of traditional Rider-Waite-Smith symbolism and modern themes. For example, the Magician is pictured as female, the Hanged Man is shown in more modern dress, and the Moon features a domesticated dog and cat.

Wallace has infused each major arcana card with rich symbolism that resonates with the themes of personal empowerment and manifestation. The major arcana “embodies a powerful archetype or lesson that can help clarify your intentions, make informed decisions, and foster a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you.”11

The minor arcana delves into the “different facets of human experience, influencing our intentions, energy, and the universe’s response to our desires. Together these elements offer an approach to manifesting and the law of attraction.”14 The minor arcana features beautiful, symbolic artwork on the court cards and simple drawings of the suit symbol for all the other cards, much like the Tarot de Marseille

All the cards in this deck also feature the name of the card and an affirmation that recaps the main theme of the card. For example, the Seven of Pentacles shares this affirmation: “Persistence in my efforts will yield security.” The back of the cards features what Wallace calls “The Flower of Manifestation,” a rainbow-colored lotus flower which “represents faith in ourselves.”15

A four-color guidebook provides detailed explanations of each card, along with practical tips on how to use the deck for manifestation and spiritual growth. Wallace begins with a brief introduction, including how to prepare your cards for reading. She also shares tips for reading the cards, including numerous spreads for both basic readings and manifestation. She features keywords, the mantra, and relevant meanings for each card in the deck.

To test drive the cards I chose to do the manifestation Seven Day Challenge. Wallace explains this is a “great way to kick start your connection to the rule of attraction.”16 For this challenge, I separated the major arcana cards from the rest of the deck and chose one card each day for seven days. I made a note of the affirmation on the card and any key information from the guidebook.

Each day I shuffled the major arcana cards and drew one card to be my guiding light for the day.  Wallace recommends that you say the mantra or affirmation out loud seven times that day. She explains: “At the end of the week look at the story your cards have told you. The universe has given you a blueprint of where you should be heading in life at the moment.”17

I took an index card and recorded the card and the mantra for each day.  It was interesting to see the variety and the compatibility of the messages I received. I am looking forward to trying some of the other spreads, including one she calls “The Staircase of Success,” which asks you to shuffle the cards and then lay down the cards in a stair step fashion  as “a way of seeing how your future is going to unfold in a time frame, usually a year, but it can be a shorter or longer.”18

The cards are a standard size, yet the cardstock seems a little light for durability and ease of handling during shuffling and readings. I’m guessing the cards may bend quite easily over time. The deck comes in a beautifully designed, two-part box that protects the cards and the guidebook.

I loved the beauty of the cards and the rich language of the guidebook. Wallace and Cellini have put a new spin on the tarot with this deck. This deck would be great for both seasoned tarot readers and beginners. I’ll use this deck for the next few weeks for my daily one card draw, to benefit from the rich guidance and manifestation tips. I also plan to take it to my next Friday Coffee & Cards group meeting to share with my friends.

From the Fool, symbolizing new beginnings and infinite potential, to the World, denoting the fulfillment of goals and the completion of cycles, Manifestation Tarot serve as powerful reminders of the innate power within everyone. The interpretations provided in the guidebook are insightful and encourage deep reflection, helping users connect with the core messages of each card.

“The brilliant thing about manifesting is, even if you’re a warrior or a negative Nelly, using this deck you can switch your mindset from scarcity to abundance and supercharge your manifestation potential.”19

Manifest Your Everything Interview with Nicci Roscoe

Alanna: Hello, Nicci! It’s so wonderful to chat with you about your new book Manifest Your Everything: Love Yourself and Create your Dream Life (CICO 2023). This was just the energy I needed in my life right now as I’m trying to get some new endeavors up and running. Before we dive into the topic of manifestation, would you mind sharing with readers some insight into your career and the work that you do?

Nicci: Hello Alanna! It’s wonderful to chat with you too. I love that you have read my book and it has given you the energy you needed in your life right now. It sounds like you have something exciting happening with your new endeavors. If you would like a video call chat please let me know and we can arrange something. I’m delighted to answer your questions below. Sending love and beautiful energy 💕🌟

Alanna: Thank you so much! I appreciate the offer. Sometimes I feel people think manifestation is something superficial or frivolous, but in the introduction to Manifest Your Everything, you discuss how your mindset impacted your recovery from a brain tumor and helped you to cope with chronic pain. This really showed me that the power of manifestation goes much deeper and can lead to long-lasting happy endings. What were some of the things you did to manage your pain and come to manifest a positive outcome?

Nicci: Our minds are so powerful and – when we tap into focusing on what we need – it is possible to achieve the outcomes what we want. Living with chronic pain can be so debilitating for many people. Fighting it, feeling sorry for ourselves, not getting out of bed and burying our head in the sand won’t help.

I have had to adapt and change certain things in my life such as not being able to be in a room with an electric guitar as the vibrations shoot through my head. I also make sure I give myself rest time and not get too tired or stressed. Before I did this I had to acknowledge and accept I was left with chronic pain following my brain tumor operation. I changed my thought process from being a victim – angry, frustrated and upset – to being ‘grateful’ I survived. I focussed on positive thoughts such as that I am so grateful I am here for my children and to enjoy my life in so many ways and help others who are suffering to do the same. I wasn’t going to let my pain take over my life.

Once I had accepted my situation, I started to talk to my pain and tell it ‘I’m in control of you; you’re not in control of me.’ Visualization is also very powerful and I see my pain shrinking and becoming smaller and smaller until it fades and becomes insignificant.  I focus on other things such as my grandchildren, my work and more. When I’m in a crowded place, I zoom into the person I’m with and hear them while the other noise of people talking fades into the background.

Meditation is also a huge part of my life which I do for 30 minutes twice each day. I feel relaxed and peaceful when I am in this beautiful space and surrender myself to silence and total calm. It gives me energy for my day and at night takes me into a very relaxed state. I focus on my ‘word meditation,’ repeating to myself over and over again ‘I feel peaceful, calm and energized’ in the day and at night I say to myself ‘I feel peaceful, calm and relaxed’. As I continue to repeat these words, I go into a deeper state of meditation and ‘just being’ in silence and peace.

Exercise and healthy eating is also a key area in pain management for me. As a former fitness instructor and trainer in this area, I know how beneficial exercise is for our mind and body. Walking in nature with my dogs, going to the gym and going doing fun circuit workouts with a friend have all helped me mentally as well as physically. Healthy eating enables me to also feel more energy, in addition to it being nutritious and having many other positive long term health benefits.

Making sure I get a good seven hours sleep a night is so important for my pain management. Releasing the tension in my head is also through head massage around the area where I have the plates and screws. My weekly indulgence at the hairdresser is something I always look forward to! James, my fabulous hairdresser, gives me a beautiful head massage around the area where I have my plates and screws. It’s such a blessing to receive.

Finding a focus other than the pain is so important and gives me a new lease of life.

Alanna: Your manifestation process starts with letting go, which has the quality of an ending to it. Why is it important to release before manifesting? How do you know a chapter has come to a close and it’s time to manifest something new?

Nicci: If you are feeling hurt, angry or upset about a situation or a person, this is something you carry around with you. It’s always there so you’re unable to move forward fully, as it will always come up in your mind. Maybe it’s to do with a relationship breakup or not being happy at work. Whatever it is you are holding onto in your unconscious mind, you need to be free of it to enable yourself to move forward and feel peaceful. Letting go and breaking the cycle of holding on to what we’re used to carrying around with us gives us the opportunity to be free to focus on and manifest what we really want with lasting, deeper positive results. It is so empowering.

Alanna: What I enjoyed most about your approach to manifestation was the focus on self-love. Reading this book reminded me of the personal power we all have within us that can ripple out and change the world around us. What happens if you try to manifest without doing the work of loving and caring for yourself? Why are positive affirmation and confidence so important for manifestation?

Nicci: Giving yourself love is a priority we all need to focus on before manifesting. By focusing on ourselves first, this is giving us a good place to begin focusing on what we really want and can achieve. If we don’t love ourselves how can we find true love, feel passion for what we do, give to others and feel happy and peaceful when we get what we dream of?

If we don’t give ourselves love and care, there will always be a void in our hearts whatever we manifest because we’re constantly chasing our desires that won’t feel fully complete.

When we manifest coming from a place of self-love and care, it’s so much more powerful. Being true to yourself and what you really want is really important. Positive affirmations such as ‘I believe in myself’ and ‘I can do this’ are constantly feeding the positive into our subconscious mind.  This in turn can give us the confidence to feel better about ourselves and focus our minds on what we really want.

Alanna: You offer so many ways to get your manifestations flowing, from connecting to nature to practicing gratitude and meditation. You even teach how to use crystals to enhance one’s manifestations, which is really neat! Do you think someone should pick a method and do it on a daily basis or is it better to try different methods and see which one works best?

Nicci: I believe each one of these ways is an integral part to achieving our manifestations. By bringing each of these practices into your daily life, you will enhance your own mind, body, spirit balance and growth.

It’s important to focus on being grateful every day for what we do have; meditating to enable us to feel a renewed energy, calm and focus; connecting to nature to enhance our mental health and well-being and embracing crystals that give us what we need through their powerful vibrations and energy.  All of these and more in my book, including having a manifestation board to focus on – taking a relevant photo and seeing it on your phone during the day – are an integral part of manifesting.

Alanna: Do you have any advice for people who know they want to manifest a better future but are having trouble seeing the specific details of what that might look like for them? How can they become more sure of their choice so that their manifestation unfolds?

Nicci: Wanting a better future and having trouble seeing specific details can be because the person has not let go of what is troubling them, that they may be afraid of failure or perhaps that they are not giving themselves the love they need to nurture themselves. When you go through the process of letting go of past trauma or upset and then give yourself the love you need, this can open your mind and give you the answers you’ve been searching for.

Healing old wounds to feel better and see more clearly is key to manifesting.

I absolutely suggest investing in a manifestation crystal such as the ones i have in my book including a Brandberg Amethyst or Mad Manifestation Crystal from Madagascar. You can also manifest with any crystal that resonates with you and what you desire. Focus on what you want and keep your crystal with you. Hold it when you feel you need to, keep it by the side of your bed and under your pillow.

Meditating with your crystal is very powerful. Hold it in your hand and ask for guidance during your meditation. This can give you a clearer picture of what you want. Give yourself time to go through the manifestation process for all to unfold and be revealed to you. Believe, focus and trust in the process.

Alanna: Another aspect of your manifestation technique I really liked is how it promotes a healthy lifestyle. What is it about food, exercise, and positive mindset that contribute to manifestation happening?

Nicci: I absolutely advocate a healthy lifestyle. Coming from a fitness background I know how beneficial exercise and healthy eating can be. They not only give us more energy but also help us to focus on our daily lives with more zest and a more positive mindset. When we feel good about ourselves and nurture our mind body and spirit with this positive balance we are coming from a wonderful place and space to enable manifestation to happen.

Alanna: Would you share some examples of things you’ve manifested, either big or small, using your techniques?

Nicci:  There are many things I have manifested using my techniques! It’s very exciting when they come to fruition! Totally magical!

1. Manifesting a pet is something I wanted so much since I lost my beautiful shiatsu, Lucky. After he went to doggy heaven I lived in an apartment and no pets were allowed. I missed the beautiful unconditional love our pets give and imagined holding my new puppy and cuddling him. I focused on having him with me and had photos of Cava Poos on my manifestation board and saw my grandchildren playing with him and laughing running around the garden in my new home! A couple of months later I moved into a house with a garden! I now have two puppies Teddy and Honey and my grandsons love running around the garden with them!! Be careful what you ask for, as I had two photos of Cava Poos on my manifestation board!!

2. I was loving life teaching aerobics and having fun. I wanted to bring this to a wider audience and focused on my manifestation process to make this happen. My manifestation board that I talk about in my book had pictures of different television and radio stations I wanted to work for with names of channels and programs written on in bold including Sky One and Sky News. I focussed on this and what I dreamed of and it became reality! I became the regular health and fitness expert on Sky One and other TV programs! Magic happens when you really focus on what you want.

Alanna: One of my favorite parts of Manifest Your Everything is the case studies you have from students. Their experiences were great testimonies to how the practices you share in the book lead to desired outcomes. Do you have any current offerings for those who might want to work with you after reading this book?

Nicci: The real-life stories in my book were from my clients who all had incredible experiences following the manifestation process.

My wonderfully successful workshop Love Yourself is my main offering that my book is based on and I intend to take it worldwide over the next year.

There are mini workshops to complement Love Yourself including:

Boost Your Confidence Feel, Good and Be Inspired
Manage Your Stress, Meditate, Relax and Re-energise

My Reiki Courses continue to send out more beautiful Reiki practitioners and Reiki Masters into the world to give more healing.

Manifest Your Everything, by Nicci Roscoe

Manifest Your Everything: Love yourself and create your dream life, by Nicci Roscoe
CICO Books, 9781800651920, 144 pages, February 2023

What if you could create the life of your dreams? For many of us this can seem out of reach, but in Manifest Your Everything: Love yourself and create your dream life, Nicci Roscoe assures us that with the right mindset we can change our lives to match our dreams. This colorful, creative book teaches the three steps needed for manifestation discovered by Roscoe and provides tons of exercises to put these steps into action.

In the introduction, Roscoe shares how she overcame the pain of healing a brain tumor, which involved risky surgery, through focusing on her positive intent for recovery. Soon she learned that when positivity is coupled with self-love and one is dedicated to making the changes needed for new beginnings, then manifestation naturally happens. To help guide readers through this process for themselves, Roscoe starts at step one, letting go, and teaches readers through empowering exercises how to call in the manifestation they desire.

Roscoe provides the much-needed reminder that we must love ourselves to make changes to our life, otherwise we’ll most likely stay stuck in outdated beliefs and negative thought patterns. In the first part of Roscoe’s manifestation process, the goal is to help readers to accept their challenging emotions, rediscover their confidence and self-worth, and set appropriate boundaries. She also emphasizes the importance of forgiving oneself and others and cultivating inner peace.

Some of the tools shared in this section are meditation, working with crystals, connecting to nature, energetic cleansing, and rituals for release and protection. Each exercise has step by step instructions to make it easy to learn and practice. There’s also space to write directly in the book, which is very helpful for organizing your manifestation process and staying focused.

The next section is a deep dive into cultivating self love by focusing on your best qualities, nurturing yourself, and celebrating your authenticity. Roscoe includes a ton of fun ways to care for one’s well-being, including affirmations, using pendulums to discover what’s needed for one’s self care, rebalancing chakras, and using essential oils for aromatherapy.

My favorite part of this section was how she also mixes in using crystals with each of the self-love exercises, including a whole section on how crystals can be added to baths to bring in certain energy. For instance she shares the recipe for a Tiger’s Eye Bath for Courage and a Citrine Crystal Bath for a Fresh Start. I would have never thought to use crystals in this way, but I definitely felt an energy shift in the water when I tried it out!

After having mastered self-love, readers are encouraged to begin their manifestation process with gratitude and prayer. Roscoe shares tips and exercises for reframing negative thoughts and beliefs to make them into potent positive energy. And once the reader is in the right state of mind, Roscoe shares all her methods of manifestation, ranging from vision boards to wish jars to crystal grids to musician motivation. There’s definitely at least one way that will resonate, and most likely, quite a few you’ll want to try out!

Then to ensure the manifestation process stays flowing, Roscoe teaches the reader how to maintain their vision as it comes into fruition. She offers a checklist of questions to make sure the reader is keeping the course and encourages them to focus on their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. By implementing Roscoe’s suggestions, actions that support manifestation can easily become part of one’s daily routine.

Before I started reading, I didn’t realize there were so many self-doubting thoughts in my head or that I was running on autopilot most of the time. I appreciated the many tips that Roscoe included for waking up the body too, such as spending time in nature, dancing, eating mindfully, and exercise. These embodiments seemed to physically bring about the changes of my manifestation, grounding it in reality.

And what are some of the things Roscoe provides instructions to manifest? Your dream home, car, job, vacation, confidence, creativity, and more! Even if what you’re seeking to create doesn’t have a specific exercise in the book, Roscoe’s step by step process will guide you through your manifestation process. There’s plenty of room to mix and match exercise to find a method that works best for you.

What I liked most in the book were the testimonies of clients Roscoe has worked with. I enjoyed reading other people’s success stories because it bolstered my confidence that these practices work and I also could benefit from them. I also loved the layout of the book and how there were tons of visuals, charts, fill in the blank spaces, and colors! Each page was captivating to look at and made reading much more exciting.

If I had to describe Manifest Your Everything in a few words, I would say “good vibes.” You can’t help but feel uplifted as you move through this book, releasing doubts and fears to attune to love, confidence, and inspiration. While there’s plenty of effort required to shift your mindset and create space for your manifestations to materialize, Roscoe has made the process easy and fun to implement.

All in all, Manifest Your Everything teaches everything you need to know to bring your vision into reality. All the tips and techniques Roscoe offers are easy to incorporate in your day to day life, though this is sure to start shifting as your dreams become reality. Her focus on self-love and positive thinking will guide you to cultivate an upbeat perspective that opens new doorways of possibilities.

Manifestation Magic, by Elhoim Leafar

Manifestation Magic: 21 Rituals, Spells, and Amulets for Abundance, Prosperity, and Wealth, by Elhoim Leafar
Weiser Books, 9781578637423, 192 pages, July 2021

In Manifestation Magic: 21 Rituals, Spells, and Amulets for Abundance, Prosperity, and Wealth, Elhoim Leafar truly delivers on his description of this book as “a practical guide to prosperity magic using amulets, talismans and rituals.”16 This wonderful book is written in three parts:

  1. Magic & Sorcery
  2. Abundance, Prosperity and Wealth
  3. Desires, Wishes and Spells

Born in Venezuela into a family of healers, Leafar draws on his spiritual and magical traditions to not only live an abundant life, but to also share his tools and tips for the reader.  In 2015, he left his native country and moved to New York City with only one suitcase and $15. Five months later, he signed a contract with a publishing firm and published his first book Wicca! Love & Soul.  He has published books in both English and Spanish.

I was interested in this book because I began investigating magic and forms of manifestation over the past two years.  The title was intriguing, as well as the number of rituals and spells that the author promised to provide.

The book is very easy to read and  I found it both entertaining and educational.  Leafar’s style is down-to-earth and he speaks to the reader as if you were sitting across a table enjoying a coffee or meal.  He shares information from his heart and you can tell that he has years of experience with the tools he shares. He begins by explaining the difference between magic and sorcery, which forms the baseline for the book:

“For many theorists, sorcery includes a group of knowledge, practices, techniques and tools for studying magic.  I propose to use the study of magic for the theoretical and sorcery to refer to the practical application of this knowledge.”17

He goes on to say that it is as important to “unlearn” ideas as it is to learn new ones. I love the idea that you come to this practice with a beginner’s mind and see magic and manifestation with new eyes.  He goes on to say that “your magic skills work like a muscle.”18  He recommends that you use the visualizations and tools regularly and even goes so far as to recommend how often to utilize certain techniques.

There are many great visualization exercises throughout the book. The one called “Visualization Magic”19 will help you start your adventure. I recorded the visualization exercise sat on my back patio and enjoyed the sounds of nature while I listened to the recording.  I felt closer to Mother Nature and began to feel my own innate power connecting with the earth and coursing back up through me.

In the next section, Leafar lists the tools that you will want to use for manifestation, each of which symbolizes an element. These include a cup or chalice for water, a cauldron for earth, candles for fire, and so on. Along with this list, which includes tips on choosing and using each tool, Leafar also provides a “Consecration Ritual,” in easy steps.

Leafar recommends that you create your very own “Personal Book of Magic.”20  Whether you use a simple spiral notebook, a journal or a folder on your laptop, he lists the ways that this chronicle of your magic journey can aid your growth, as well as celebrate your accomplishments.

I was particularly interested in the chapter that covered using the sun, moon, and planets in magic. As an astrology student for the past 15 years, anything that touches on the stars and planets interests me. Leafar’s explanation of when to work with solar energy and when to call on the moon’s magic really hit home for me. He also had brief information on the moon in each of the 12 signs and how that sign’s energy might contribute to your spells or works.

He gave an example of using the moon phases and days of the week for a healing ritual for two sample clients. It helped me to see the importance of working with the phases of the moon and days of the week to “greatly increase your results.”21 Leafar also talks many times about the importance of clarity regarding your intentions.  This is a critical element, not only for rituals and spells, but for your life.

Next, he covered the energy of the days of the week, various Gods and Goddesses, colors, and crystals.  I feel that he presented a very good foundation for the next section, where he goes into background information for abundance. My favorite passage from this section:

“Every time something good happens in your life, every achievement, every joy, every celebration, let it flow and memorize how it feels. Once you have memorized it and embraced it, you will have filed it in your brain and in your soul and enriched yourself with this emotion.”22

In the section Rituals & Spells, Leafar shares 21 rituals for abundance.  My favorite was the Scroll of Abundance. I’m looking forward to seeing how my scroll works on a long term goal.

Lastly, Leafar shares several prayers that can uplift you and work to call on Divine support.  My favorite was the “Daily Prayer to the Spirit of Prosperity that Rules the West,” which starts with:

“Oh great spirit of prosperity that everything you touch prospers and grows . . .”23

Everything in this book, from the spells to the prayers comes from the heart of this magician and flows like a beautiful river. This book is best for the student of magic, whether a beginner or someone who has practiced spells for a few years.  It is easy to read and comprehend, and many of the rituals and spells are shared in step-by-step processes that anyone can follow. I really enjoyed his writing style and how he shared his knowledge and years of experience with magic.

I look forward to continuing my work with the spells and rituals from Manifestation Magic. I’ve already received a few ideas about modifying the altar I have in my office, as well as continuing my work with the moon in various phases and zodiac placements.
